Formerly a traditional Black House, with walls that are four foot thick in places, South Bank offers a very distinctive holiday home for those who like basic but cosy accommodation.  There is a small double bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower and a room comprising kitchen/lounge/diner.  The house is most suited to couples, but there is a sofa bed and a futon in the living room to accommodate extra guests. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, automatic washing machine, refrigerator and microwave. There is a bath and a shower unit.  Heating is provided by a coal fire and electric heaters. All linen and towels are provided free of charge. Please note that there is no television in the cottage.
